Convergence Zone

Joerg Steiber reports on todays excellent gliding conditions



The 3:15p satellite photo shows a string of cu following Hwy 401 from Windsor to London. This is a convergence zone where the seabreezes from Lake Erie and Lake Huron meet, producing a lift street from London to Windsor. According to the tephi for the day, cloud bases should be around 6000 MSL. I hope many of you were out flying enjoying these rare conditions.
